Position overview
The Scientist will work alongside our data analysts and senior scientists in dynamic, cooperative teams to deliver model-informed and technical solutions. The Scientist will receive personalized training and mentorship by senior scientists on our cutting-edge technology and methodology to support our clients’ drug development programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player, and eager to learn from senior scientists. This position is onsite at our Ann Arbor office. Prior knowledge about pharmacology/pharmacometrics is NOT required.
Specific responsibilities
- Develop pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) models to support regulatory submission, clinical trial design and decision-making.
- Collaborate with clinical development teams to optimize study design and dosing strategy.
- Develop and maintain PK and PK/PD databases and data visualization tools.
- Provide scientific expertise in PK/PD and model-based drug development to cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- PhD in pharmacometrics, pharmacology, statistics, engineering, any quantitative sciences or biology related sciences OR PharmD / MD with strong quantitative skills
- Strong knowledge of PK and PD modeling principles and software (e.g., NONMEM, R).
- Experience with population PK/PD analyses is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
