Position overview

The Human Resources Representative will oversee administration for the human resources function and support the executive and business teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a team player, and an effective communicator.

Specific responsibilities

  • Supporting recruitment process from start to finish, including setting up interviews, writing offer letters, and overseeing onboarding paperwork
  • Managing confidential personnel records, keeping records up-to-date and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Updating and maintaining employee compensation and equity records
  • Coordinating with executive team benefits administration and management, including health insurance, HSA, 401k, parental leave, and other employee benefits
  • Assisting executive and leadership teams in managing employee performance reviews, including scheduling, preparing documents, and writing performance improvement plans
  • Facilitating employee offboarding in accordance with company policies and legal requirements, including COBRA
  • Acting as primary point of contact for internal inquiries, such as for benefits management
  • Working with executive team to design internal policies and benefits, and communicating new policies internally
  • Other human resources or operational support, as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources management or related field. Human resources certification is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience working in a human resources or equivalent role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
