Position overview
The Human Resources Representative will oversee administration for the human resources function and support the executive and business teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a team player, and an effective communicator.
Specific responsibilities
- Supporting recruitment process from start to finish, including setting up interviews, writing offer letters, and overseeing onboarding paperwork
- Managing confidential personnel records, keeping records up-to-date and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Updating and maintaining employee compensation and equity records
- Coordinating with executive team benefits administration and management, including health insurance, HSA, 401k, parental leave, and other employee benefits
- Assisting executive and leadership teams in managing employee performance reviews, including scheduling, preparing documents, and writing performance improvement plans
- Facilitating employee offboarding in accordance with company policies and legal requirements, including COBRA
- Acting as primary point of contact for internal inquiries, such as for benefits management
- Working with executive team to design internal policies and benefits, and communicating new policies internally
- Other human resources or operational support, as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources management or related field. Human resources certification is a plus
- 2+ years of experience working in a human resources or equivalent role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
