Position overview

The Contract Specialist will work closely with the A2-Ai business operations and leadership teams. The primary objective of this role is to streamline ongoing business relationships by drafting, maintaining, and tracking contracts throughout their lifecycle as well as optimizing tracking and organizational workflows. This position is encouraged for entry-mid-level applicants who seek to develop skills in procurement, business, and operations management.

Specific responsibilities

  • Independently draft, review, and support negotiations for a broad range of contracts including master service agreements, consulting agreements, NDAs, vendor and supplier contracts, SaaS/software agreements, contractor agreements, and statements of work (SOWs)
  • Implements strategies to ensure productivity while also evaluating how well the business performed on various tasks within a specific time frame
  • Support internal contract review and approval processes, including working with business units to understand needs and provide practical guidance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of contract templates and contract lifecycle processes
  • Lead the contract renewal, amendment, and termination process as needed
  • Works closely with company leaders to accomplish client need
  • Generates scope of work contracts for client projects

Qualifications

  • Must hold at least a bachelor’s degree
  • 0-4 years of experience working in an administrative or business operational role
  • Experience delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of procurement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
